There has been a lot of excitement surrounding Cadillac in recent months – ever since the initial announcement of its plans to introduce a host of brand-new vehicles to the lineup. The company followed that up in quick succession with the unveiling of the 2016 ATS-V and 2016 CTS-V, but more importantly the announcement of a brand new flagship sedan called the Cadillac CT6. Since then, many people have been bummed out about the lack of confirmed information. The Cadillac site doesn’t even have a Future Vehicles page dedicated to stringing a bunch of fancy words together that create the illusion of information without actually telling us anything. Bummer.
But last night on the Oscars, Cadillac surprised everyone with a sneaky minute-long commercial that finally unveiled the finished CT6 product. We still don’t have any confirmed information about it, but at least we can look at it in all its glory. Granted, the commercial was kind of weird. I mean, the underlying message made sense I guess, but it was delivered strangely. And “Dare Greatly” just sounds kind of dumb. But hey, we got to see the CT6, so we’ll take it.
Check out the commercial below and let us know what you think. We’re on the edge of our seat waiting for more information about the exciting new model, but we’ll probably fall off before they actually give us anything.
