“You thought you were so damn smart when you drafted Josh Gordon in your fantasy league. And if your league awards points for converted leads and test drives taken, then you definitely were. Good job.
After leading the NFL in receiving yards in 2013, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon inked a deal to join Sarchione Auto Group as a goodwill ambassador and on-floor salesman — a move that is sending waves through the Greater Cleveland automotive community.
The speed and athleticism Josh Gordon brings to Sarchione Auto Group is hard to match,” a local competitor said. “We’ve had opportunities to sign many of the terrible quarterbacks the Browns have drafted over the past decade, but never a player that has had even marginal success in the league.”
Gordon’s role likely won’t include a lot of aggressive sales pitches or ride alongs with prospective buyers. Instead, he’ll play a major role in the dealership’s community efforts, which includes a partnership with the Wounded Warrior Project.
Selling cars is a far cry from catching passes in the NFL, but I hear the sales team is littered with young talent.
