Ford Ranger Could Come Back In A Big Way
It hasn’t been easy for Ford fans to sit idly by while other manufacturers like Chevy and Toyota enjoy the spoils of having a small truck available in their lineups. But while the proposed date of a new Ranger may date as far out as 2018, Ford execs have shed just enough light on what could be to keep us all interested.
The latest is word from Ford’s Performance Communications Manager Paul Seredynski that he was quoted as saying a Raptor Ranger would be a “fascinating idea.” While not exactly an announcement, we know that people in Seredynski’s position need to choose their words wisely. So it is telling that he commented on the idea.
Considering the reputation of the Ford Raptor, and how it compares to some other high-end trucks, it’s feasible to see Ford going all the way with the new Ranger. Considering how long Ford fans have been waiting (and will continue to) for the Ranger, it would be a pretty sweet reward.
