The Ford GT Is Finally Hitting The Track

If you’ve been in attendance at any of the big recent auto shows, it’s safe to say that the Ford GT is all the buzz. At last year’s Detroit Auto Show, the GT made a not-so-coincidental appearance driving through the main drag of the show – during the unveiling of the new Acura NSX. Point taken, Ford.

Now, after much anticipation, we’re finally going to get to see the car do what it does best – dominate (hopefully) on the racetrack. The Rolex 24 at Daytona will be the car’s first test against some serious supercars in a serious race. And it’s all happening at hallowed ground – Daytona International Speedway.
