Brian is a writer focusing on the automotive world. After running his 2000 Ford Taurus into the ground, he fell head over heels for a 2013 Mazda3, because Skyactiv Technology. Duh.

The Chicago Auto Show unveiling of the 2016 Ford Police Interceptor was going along much like any other reveal, with discussions of past successes and big things for the future. But when it came time to pull the cover off the new SUV, a special guest named Keegan rushed onto the scene to unveil the next-generation Police Interceptor.

Keegan is a three-year old Belgian Malinois who set the new standard for how vehicles should be uncovered. When Keegan’s owner, Emily, let her off the leash, she broke into a dead sprint, put the cover in her mouth, and dashed away to expose the new Ford Police Interceptor in what was certainly record time.

After the press conference, Keegan was the center of attention, posing for pictures, showing affection for Emily, and sitting tall and proud in front of the newly revealed SUV.

Have a look at some of the photos of Keegan posing in front of the 2016 Ford Police Interceptor, and when you celebrate St. Patty’s Day this year, take a moment to wish this Chicago Auto Show hero a happy fourth birthday.

Oh, we also have a few shots of the new Ford Police Interceptor if you’re into that.
