Unknown Man Berates Guy Helplessly Sandwiched Between Two Cars

Next time that you plan on getting pinned between two cars, be sure that both of the cars are well off of the road first. It’s a lesson that an Iowa man learned the hard way.

A few days ago, 20-year-old Brandon Monahan rear-ended 41-year-old Laurie Splinter, and while he was in front of his car assessing the damages, an SUV came barreling in and rear-ended Monahan’s car, which left Monahan sandwiched between the two cars.

The driver then did what any decent human being would do. He got out of his SUV to berate Monahan and tell him that he needed to get the fuck out of the road. While he was helplessly pinned, mind you.

Then he got back in his SUV and dipped.

A guy bitching out a helpless guy writhing in pain between two cars has to be a top contender for the most awkward conversation to ever take place. The press release doesn’t have any specifics about the verbal exchange that took place between the two men. It just says that the SUV driver “yelled obscenities at Monahan to get out of the road.”

I have to believe that Laurie was incredibly confused while this was all taking place.

While we’re tossing out award nominations, I’d also like to note that the SUV driver deserves some serious consideration for the Asshole of the Year award. Unfortunately, he got away so one knows who to present the award to.

Monahan was eventually freed and taken to the hospital with “severe leg injuries,” but they aren’t life-threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery.

The Grant County Sheriff’s department is actively on the hunt for the mysterious sandwich artist.
