Detroit Claims Wheels of Corvette Not Even Out Yet
Chalk another one up to the streets of Detroit.
Even though the new 2020 Corvette is set to begin production in February, somehow there was one spotted in downtown Detroit on blocks this week. So many questions. But to state one – what exactly do the thieves plan on doing with wheels of a ride that isn’t even out yet? They may have to lay on these ones for a bit.

Since the location of the wheel jacked Corvette is only four miles from the GM headquarters, it seems likely that it was an employee, but it also lacked manufacturer plates. The plot thickens.

No matter how this all happened, it’s pretty striking imagery.
With all that changes in the world, a few things stay constant. Corvettes are coveted and Detroit can’t get any good press.
