Save for his role in the abomination that was “The Pacifier,” Vin Diesel has a reputation of being typecast as a badass, but in a video posted earlier today on his Facebook page, the “Fast & Furious” star showed that he also possesses a soft side.

Apparently Vin just got the news that “Riddick” is currently number one on the DVD charts, and wanted to show his fans just how thankful he is for all of their help and support. He has a history of thanking fans via Facebook, but none of those instances consisted of anything quite like this..

Throughout the majority of the seven and a half minute video, Vin awkwardly jerks around dances and lip syncs to Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” and Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love.” He spends a lot of time scooping his junk and executing some cringe-worthy moves, and it’s not until about halfway through that he gets to what can roughly be considered as the point of the video. As you would expect, he expresses his gratitude in his trademark half-mumble so it’s kind of hard to understand what the hell he’s saying, but this is the gist of it:

“There’s no way in the world ‘Riddick’ would have been made without you guys. You know that. You guys have been a part of our page since 2012 and remember how arduous a road it was for us to actually get the movie made, and to make it rated ‘R,’ and to do it with such a low budget. It’s a win for all of us and I really, really, really, really thank you guys so much. Yeah, I’m excited.”

Now watch me touch myself to this hot new Beyonce song.

Vin Diesel has gained quite a bit of recognition in the automotive world with his role in the Fast & Furious series. In the thank you video he mentions that he has been working on the upcoming “Fast & Furious 7,” which will still be completed despite the tragic and unexpected death of Paul Walker last November. No one really knows what direction the story will go, and frankly I don’t really give a shit as long as Vin Diesel goes back to being the badass we all know and love.

In the meantime I’m just going to try and forget that I’ve ever seen the following video.
