Eighty-three year-old Joyce Kingsley had her TV on pretty loud. But it wasn’t loud enough to drown out the noise made when the driver of a Ford Mustang lost control and landed their car on her roof.
The main picture making its way around the net makes the event look pretty spectacular, but a different view tells the story of how this was even possible. The bottom of the backside of Kingsley’s roof is nearly parallel with the ground. Not that this is a common occurrence. The driver reportedly had a medical problem that caused him to go way off course on Michigan’s Hwy. 69 and end up at the peak of the roof.
As for Kingsley, she plans to tarp the roof until it gets replaced.
“It could’ve been a lot worse,” she said. “I’m glad everyone is all right.”
If only the rest of the world were as easy-going as Joyce.
